SETPLAN IMPLEMENTATION The Steering Group of the SETPlan in its last meeting on October 28 th, 2010 agreed to speedup the execution of activities of the Implementation Plans (IPs) of the European Industrial Initiatives (EIIs). It was decided to collectively identify the possibilities for launching joint actions between Member States and/or Member States and the European Commission. The mapping exercise carried out through this questionnaire builds upon this decision of the Steering Group. It aims to identify topics for leveraging best ongoing efforts with complementary joint actions, as prioritized by the Implementation Plans. In this phase the mapping will focus on projects and activities with a total budget higher than 1 M. We trust that you also consider the success of this exercise important for the immediate implementation of the SETPlan. Vybudovaná infraštruktúra dobudovanie fotovoltickej elektrárne a vybudovanie výskumného laboratória umožní výraznejším spôsobom zapájať sa do medzinárodných projektov, aktivít a iniciatív. Projekt bude mat dlhodobé multiplikačné efekty v oblasti obnoviteľných zdrojov energie a ochrany životného prostredia. The project enables to implement research in the field of solar photovoltaic (PV) applications. The build up infrastructure finalizing construction of a photovoltaic power plant and building a research laboratory enables to join international project, activities and initiatives. The project will have longterm multiplication effects in the field of renewable energy resources and environmental protection. The achieved targets as well as followup outcomes of the project are in compliance with the overall goal to establish new photovoltaic structures with the greatest efficiency for real applications. The project focuses mainly on new materials suitable for developing of photovoltaic cells of the second and third generation based on the cell as well as thinfilm structures on macro and nano level. Následne bude táto infraštruktúra využitá na realizáciu aplikovaného výskumu v oblasti fotovoltických aplikácií. Súčasťou tohto výskumu bude aj spracovanie: analýzy regulačného prostredia SR, ktoré vplýva na praktickú aplikáciu skúmanej technológie v praxi, identifikácia a monitoring využiteľných výsledkov medzinárodného výskumu, identifikácia území v rámci Bratislavského kraja, na ktorých by mohla byť skúmaná technológia optimálne využiteľná, posudok vplyvu skúmanej technológie na životné prostredie. The implementation of project activities considers building up an experimental PV complex on installed output of minimum 500 kw p which represents production of approx. 600 MWh electricity and savings of approx. 350 tons carbon dioxide. Subsequently, this infrastructure will be used for applied research in the field of PV applications. Part of this research will be preparation of Analysis of the regulatory environment of the Slovak Republic which influences the practical application of examined technology in the
